Our Team

Shunya Suzuki
Founder & CEO
Shunya Suzuki holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo.
He began his career at the Development Bank of Japan, where he worked in M&A advisory. During this time, he passed all sections of the U.S. Certified Public Accountant (USCPA) examination.
He later joined ENECHANGE Ltd., where he served in corporate strategy, acted as CFO of its UK subsidiary, and led business development initiatives. After working in business development roles at foreign climate tech startups, he became independent and founded Nestgen.
He has provided services to domestic carbon accounting startups and international environmental attribute trading companies.
He is certified as an Advanced Decarbonization Advisor under a program accredited by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment.

村井 建介 (Kensuke Murai)
Business Development
Based in Amsterdam, Kensuke Murai graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Environmental Engineering. He has worked extensively in climate-related businesses across both Japanese and international companies.
At Marubeni Corporation, he was involved in emissions trading, and at Oracle Corporation, he served as Head of Japan Business, leading software initiatives for energy companies. He has also played key roles in launching Japan operations for two U.S.-based climate tech startups as Head of Business Development.
He has deep expertise in European regulations such as CBAM and provides related advisory and consulting services.
